Simple Fish with Paprika
Using my version of Jean George’s vinaigrette I made a simply delicious piece of salmon. All I did was sprinkle a healthy amount of smoked paprika onto a piece of salmon. The piece of salmon I had was about 7 ounces.
Bake Fish in covered dish (I use my mom’s old Corning ware which I still think is one of the best cooking vessels out there. If you can, get one! They are safe in an oven, microwave and dishwasher and super easy to clean.
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees on bake convection if you have that function.
Salt & Pepper your fish (Use Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper). Then pour some of the dressing over the fish. Let it marinate while you preheat the oven. When the oven is at 375 degrees put the fish in on the middle rack. Cook for 12 - 15 minutes. Check your fish / see if it’s cooked all the way through by cutting through the middle. When it’s fully cooked through take it out and let it sit for a minute or two.
Easy! Was soooooo good!
I served it with a fennel & arugula salad with some of my spicy pepitas and peanuts and used my favorite balsamic vinegar as a dressing.
